My Story…

I was born and raised in a small and mountainous area in Iran. My mother, breaking barriers, became the first woman in our community to attend high school and secure a job as a teacher. Fueled by the same passion, I explored beyond my homeland, ultimately earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Throughout this journey, I have faced a lot of ups and downs, which have shaped the depth of my attitude and work philosophy. I have learned to be adaptable and creative and to maintain my passion for learning and growth. I have also developed a joy for work that addresses human problems, and the design world is where I can fulfill this mission.

Things that I love

Photography

My photo-based artwork has been exhibited nationally. In my work, I explore concepts like memory, identity, and home.

Running

During the pandemic, I got into running and now run 20 miles each week. I completed my first half marathon last year and am aiming to run a full marathon next year.
